---|
Good thermal stability
PVDF has excellent thermal stability and is able to maintain its stability in high temperature environments and is less likely to decompose or lose its properties. This allows PVDF to withstand high temperature conditions during the extrusion process and is less likely to deform or degrade.
Excellent mechanical properties
PVDF has high mechanical strength and rigidity, which makes the extruded products have excellent strength and durability. It has good resistance to stretching, bending and impact to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications.
Chemical resistance
PVDF has excellent chemical resistance and is resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents and chemicals. This enables PVDF to withstand a wide range of chemical environments in extrusion grades and is less susceptible to corrosion or damage.
Excellent electrical insulating properties
PVDF has excellent electrical insulating properties, effectively stopping the flow of electric current and avoiding problems such as short circuits. This makes PVDF important in electrical and electronic applications.
Weather resistance | PVDF has good weather resistance and is resistant to UV light, oxidation and other environmental factors. It performs well in outdoor environments and does not age or fade easily. | |
Abrasion resistance | PVDF has good abrasion resistance and resists friction and wear, extending the life of the extruded product. | |
Low water absorption | PVDF has low water absorption and is less likely to absorb moisture, helping to maintain the stability and performance of the extruded product. | |
Biocompatible | PVDF has good biocompatibility and is harmless to humans and the environment, making it suitable for medical and food applications. |
Application for Pipes and fittings: Extruded grade PVDF can be used to manufacture high performance pipes and fittings for use in chemical, petroleum, medical and semiconductor applications. It has excellent chemical and temperature resistance and is capable of long-term stable operation in harsh operating environments.
Extruded grade PVDF can be used as a coating material for wires and cables, providing excellent electrical insulation properties and heat resistance, protecting wires and cables from electrical faults and environmental influences.
Extrusion grade PVDF can be extruded into various shapes of plastic profiles such as rods, sheets and tubes for use in construction, chemical, electronic and aerospace applications.
Extrusion grade PVDF can also be used to manufacture syringes, valves, connectors, seals, gaskets, automotive parts and many other products for medical, automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.
